Welcome to Honda City

It’s not a large City, but it does resemble some of the larger ones. For example, Accord City. Still, as is the norm with smaller cities, it’s cheaper to live in and although you don’t get the same levels of comfort, its good enough for the money you pay.

If I haven’t lost you already with my pathetic attempt to talk about the car as if it were an actual city, please do go on reading. The City comes with an all new 1.4 litre i-VTEC engine which develops a whooping (I’m just kidding) 100bhp. Still, pretty decent for a car that will mainly be sold to people who are very money-conscious.

While everybody is doing their best to cut down on CO2 emissions, Honda has found the solution for making the grass greener by the roadside with its FCX Clarity model. Yup, this car’s exhaust pipe can be easily mistaken for a water faucet, because H20 is the only thing coming out of it, noise included.
If you’re planning on buying one, you should know that the waiting list is pretty long, and unless you’re the leading actor in an upcoming blockbuster, there’s little chance of cutting in front. Oh, and the fact that it will only be available in the US and Japan might pose some problems too…
Jamie Lee Curtis is one of the people who will soon be leaving a trail of water behind them. Her husband, filmmaker Cristopher Guest, also bought one and so did the producer Ron Yerxa. Yeah, I know, I’ve never heard of them either, except for Jamie Curtis, but I guess what they’re trying to say is that it will become all the rage in Hollywood.
But don’t be afraid, we can rely on Bono to bring one here from over the Atlantic, that’s for sure.
